So this is a WordPress blog. Anyone in the group with the password can log in and make a post. Anyone can comment - comment notifications roll through to the default email address (which is one of mine at the moment but this can be changed at any time). Commenters have to add their email address before they’re allowed to post, which cuts down the number of spam posts selling Viagra or whatever.
Posts can be categorised, so readers browsing the blog can find every post relating to poetry with just one click. You can also tag entries with more specific keywords, such as the title of your work, author’s name etc.
When we’re all ready to go I’ll work up a little guide to using the blog for everyone – WordPress is very user-friendly!
Also, as this blog is hosted on the WordPress servers, it’s automatically included on the major search engines.
